By entering and participating in Sentella 2026, I acknowledge that the event involves inherent risks and that participation is undertaken voluntarily and at my own risk.
These risks may include, but are not limited to, fire, weather conditions, natural surroundings, structures, art installations, mutant vehicles, activities undertaken by other participants, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable hazards associated with the event and its environment.
I accept responsibility for my own safety, wellbeing, property, decisions and actions while attending Sentella. I understand that I am responsible for making appropriate decisions about my participation and for taking reasonable precautions to protect myself and my belongings.
Preparation & Personal Responsibility
I confirm that I have read and understood the Sentella Survival Guide and Code of Conduct, and agree to abide by the Sentella Principles, applicable event policies, and all applicable South African laws.
This includes complying with event procedures such as the Gate and Pass-Out system.
I understand that I am responsible for preparing adequately for the conditions and duration of the event, including bringing sufficient food, water, suitable shelter, clothing, personal supplies and first-aid provisions for myself.
Consent, Photography & Media
I agree to respect the privacy, boundaries and consent of other participants.
I will not photograph, film or otherwise record people without their consent, and I agree to comply with Sentella’s Media Policy.
Release & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, I release and hold harmless the Sentella Foundation, its organisers, volunteers, contractors and affiliates from claims, demands, losses, damages, theft, injury, costs or expenses arising from or connected with my attendance or participation in Sentella 2026, including those arising from the acts or omissions of other participants or from my own participation in the event.
I understand that this release includes risks arising from the negligence of the Sentella Foundation and the persons or entities listed above, except to the extent that such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by South African law.
Nothing in this waiver is intended to exclude or limit any right, liability or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.

By attending Sentella 2026, I confirm that I have read and understood this Disclaimer & Liability Waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
I understand that participation in Sentella is my choice and that I remain responsible for my own safety, wellbeing, property, decisions and actions throughout the event.
This waiver is binding upon me and, to the extent permitted by law, upon my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
