SENTELLA 2026
Thank you for choosing to be part of Sentella 2026.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below, as well as the Sentella Foundation Code of Conduct and Disclaimer & Liability Waiver.
1. Tickets
Tickets are issued for Sentella 2026, taking place from 7–11 October 2026 at Fish ‘n Bietjie.
Each ticket is issued to a named attendee and may only be used by that person, subject to the transfer provisions below.
Please keep your ticket and confirmation email safe. You may be required to present your ticket or ticket details when entering the event.
2. Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person.
The original ticket holder is responsible for notifying Sentella of any change of attendee name before the event. Sentella may require the new attendee’s details before the transfer can be completed.
Tickets may not be resold for more than their original purchase price.
3. Refunds, Cancellation & Postponement
Tickets are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Sentella is unable to provide the event as advertised.
If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
If the event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified of the applicable refund arrangements.
Any cancellation or refund arrangements will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.
4. Code of Conduct
Sentella is committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive and participatory environment for everyone.
By purchasing a ticket and attending Sentella, you agree to read and abide by the Sentella Foundation Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct applies to participants, volunteers, organisers and other people participating in Sentella activities, including relevant interactions before, during and after the event.
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the event, removal from volunteer or leadership roles, or exclusion from future Sentella events, depending on the circumstances.
5. Disclaimer & Liability Waiver
Participation in Sentella involves inherent risks, including risks associated with weather, fire, structures, art, vehicles, the environment and the actions of other participants.
By attending Sentella, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety, wellbeing, property, decisions and actions.

The Disclaimer & Liability Waiver forms part of the terms applicable to participation in Sentella 2026.
6. Personal Responsibility & Preparation
Sentella is a participatory event. Attendees are responsible for preparing adequately for their own needs, including bringing appropriate food, water, shelter, clothing, medication, personal supplies and first-aid provisions as required.
Attendees are also responsible for complying with applicable South African laws and all Sentella event policies and procedures.
7. Consent, Privacy & Media
Sentella is committed to respecting personal boundaries, consent and privacy.
Attendees agree to respect the consent of others and not photograph, film or record people without their consent, in accordance with Sentella’s media policy and Code of Conduct.
8. Under-12 Attendees
Attendees under the age of 12 must attend with a responsible parent or legal guardian.
The accompanying parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor’s supervision, safety and compliance with the applicable Sentella policies.
9. Agreement
By purchasing a Sentella 2026 ticket, you confirm that you have read and understood these Ticket Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them, the Sentella Foundation Code of Conduct, the Sentella 2026 Disclaimer & Liability Waiver, applicable Sentella event policies, and applicable South African law.
These terms are subject to any rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.
